Summer Music Programs

Classes may be scheduled for 1/2 hour weekly private lessons in piano, guitar, voice, woodwinds and/or for the following intensives:

Children’s Choir Intensive

Ages 6 and up. The choir program teaches vocal basics in a fun group session.
Students learn proper warm-up and breathing exercises, and an introduction to harmony. The choir works on a wide range of musical styles from contemporary Disney songs to historical folk songs and classical choral songs. One hour daily sessions. Admission is by audition.
Class minimum is 5. Class maximum is 12.

Chamber Music Intensive

Ages 7 and up. The chamber music ensemble program teaches classical music in a fun group session. Students learn proper warm-up, tuning and rhythm exercises. The ensemble works on preparing students for participation in orchestra and symphony groups. One hour daily sessions. Admission is by audition. Class minimum is 3. Class maximum is 5.

Jazz Music Ensemble Intensive

Ages 7 and up. The jazz ensemble program teaches jazz music in a fun group session. Students learn proper warm-up, tuning and rhythm exercises. The ensemble works on preparing students for participation in jazz and modern music groups. One hour daily sessions. Admission is by audition.
Class minimum is 3. Class maximum is 5.
